Around 100 people gathered at City Law School on 14th March to make IfJ's first conference a lively and successful event. Applications to attend were still arriving in the final few days, and with some last minute juggling workshop places were found for everyone. Grateful thanks are due to: Sharon Richardson and Catherine O'Neill in particular for taking on the lion's share of the organisation; our presenters who so generously gave their time and energy to create such an interesting and stimulating day; and last but not least to our patron Lady Henrietta St George for enabling us to offer free places to IfJ members, and to non-members at a very modest £25 - one attendee was so impressed he insisted on donating an extra £20! In due course we hope to post on this site a range of materials from the day. Watch this space! Already we are putting thoughts together for next year's Spring Conference . . .
