Course Content:

Welcome to Widgit & Introduction to Widgit Online 

Travel to the world of Widgit and discover who we are and what we do. 

Experience what it may feel like to be a non-reader, and see how easy it is to create symbol-supported resources.

You'll learn how to: 

  • Create symbol-supported resources (including Dual Language)
  • Change skin tone on a symbol 
  • Adapt and personalise symbols by changing colours, skin tones and combining text
  • Insert your own images

There will be 10mins at the end of the training where you can ask any questions, or we can look at anything in more depth. 

- Participants to log on 15 minutes prior to start of each session.

- It is required that all participants keep their cameras on throughout the workshop.

- Participants to complete online feedback form post workshop.
