The kind of information we hold about you:

Once information is given to us by you, we collect, store and use the following categories of personal data:

➢      Personal contact details

(full name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses).

➢      Details about your professional status.

(qualifications, training background and if relevant your MoJ registration number).

➢      IfJ events that you have attended or expressed an interest in.


Please note that we do not receive any personal data by third parties or other agencies.

All the data that we have collected and stored has been given to us directly by yourselves.


How is your personal information collected and stored?

We collect personal information about you through any application process you make to Intermediaries for Justice, such as applying to become a member or applying to attend an event or conference. We also collect your information if you make an email enquiry to IfJ.

We store your information on Membermojo, which is the data processor. This means Membermojo holds and processes the data on behalf of IfJ. Membermojo is an online membership management software which allows us to have a central member and contact database. How is your personal information used?

If you have given us your contact details, we may contact you by post, telephone or email.

We will not share your information with any third parties outside of Intermediaries for Justice.


Your personal data rights

You can access your personal information at any point. This enables you to access all of the personal data we hold about you, edit the personal information or erase your personal information completely.

Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, altered, used by other parties or accessed in an unauthorised way. We do this by always using secure systems, computers and databases and ensuring that no information is leaked or shared.

In addition, we limit the access of your personal data to employees and committee members who have legitimate reason. Employees and Committee members will only access your personal data for legitimate reasons such as if the information needs to be used to send communications from Intermediaries for Justice.

All Employees and Committee members are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
